Hi. The name’s Jordan but most of my friends call me “Jo”.
I love Jesus, people and picking about any flower I can get my hands on. I have a passion for writing but an even bigger passion for traveling and mission work. I am constantly collecting movies, vinyls and anything from the 90s or 80s. I sometimes pee when I laugh and I cry at just about everything. My happy place is anywhere holding a baby. I crave guacamole a little too much and I sleep in past noon. I rarely brush my hair and I dread shaving my legs. My spirit animal is an elephant, or sometimes Rhyan, my best friends’ 7-year old daughter. Disney movies are my go-to, especially The Little Mermaid and Princess and the Frog. I’m a thrill seeker but a horror movie hater. I rarely go to the gym but I’m trying to get back into routine. I lived in Uganda for a year, and I am currently in therapy learning how to process and find healing within that. I am a college graduate. There’s a slight chance I might be going back to grad school, but it’s just on the table. I’m scared of snakes and lucky for me, I have found some sort of bravery when it comes to spiders. It probably has to do with the fact that American spiders have nothing on Ugandan ones. The goal I have set for my life is to stand up for those with no voice, everybody deserves to be treated equal and to be heard. Letters are my love language and I’ll hug just about anybody. I’m a sinner made a saint, and I still make mistakes. I’m a tattoo addict, I have 11. I cuss sometimes and occasionally drink a beer or two.
Anyway, that’s me – just a college grad trying to share her life with the world.
